NACC Vending Machine services and products are dedicated to the promotion of a healthy enviornment for both the present and our future.
Naccarato Enterprises has taken pro-active measures to introduce healthier choices in its vending machines. Our senior management has been educated by nutritionists who attended the industry annual conference, and we have recently developed a relationship with the Dairy Farmers of Canada to launch the “Dairy Goodness Centre” concept at all the high schools within the Simcoe County District School Board. We offer a variety of promotional activities and strategies to encourage the sale of healthier foods. In addition we have sourced out many new wholesalers and developed an extensive list of healthier snack options that meet the Ontario Ministry of Education criteria as recommended by Dietitians of Canada.
Naccarato Enterprises will coordinate efforts with the schools or business to promote the healthier choices in its vending machines using the following communication techniques:
- Healthy Product Sampling and Promotion
- Health Awareness Campaigns
- Pricing Incentives
- Sampling and Feedback Initiatives
- Health-Centric Marketing
- Pricing Strategy
• Sampling sessions of proposed healthy products – will provide free samples at various locations in the school or business – surveys and taste test comments will be gathered. In addition, written material about health and fitness will be placed by the free sample locations. There are many new products coming into the market place so this will provide an opportunity to test new samples.
• Informative posters will be placed on vending machines emphasizing health and fitness
• Inclusion of a description of the healthier vending choices in parent/employee newsletters
• Naccarato will price the healthier choices at a lower sales price than the other products in the vending machines.
• 25% or more of total choices in machine will meet the healthy criteria
• Will rotate product selections in the healthy criteria for increased variety
• Healthy choices will be identified with a green sticker and advertised as such on the vending machine
• Will provide healthy products with brand recognition
• A plan of the layout of the products in the machine will promote the healthier choices at eye level. This characteristic can be used to get new products noticed and tried.
• Vending data will be used to monitor sales trends and provide the products
